Do you know an exceptional Respiratory Care Practitioner?

Once again it is time to consider candidates for the Ohio Society for Respiratory Care (OSRC) Practitioner of the Year. Every practitioner/ manager/ educator who meets the qualifications, in the State of Ohio, is eligible for this award. We ask you to consider nominating one of your co-workers, friends or mentors. We will be accepting nominations in the following categories:
1.Diagnostics (PFT’s, Lab, Sleep)
2.Home Care
3.Adult Acute Care
4.Transport (any age group)
5.Long term care/ Rehabilitation
6.Management
7.Neonatal/ Pediatrics
8.Education (Hospital based and institution)
Continuing with our award policies, the OSRC will be presenting an award in those categories with at least 2 candidate nominations. Nominees must be members in good standing with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).
All Nominees will receive a recognition certificate and reduced registration to this year’s State meeting should they chose to attend. This year’s State meeting is August 4-5, 2025. This annual award is presented at the State meeting, to a therapist who has exemplified leadership, performance, initiative and professionalism in their own discipline of Respiratory Care to his/ her institution and the community at large. Attached are the qualifications for being nominated.
