Call for Speaker Proposals

OSRC Annual Conference — August 3–4, 2026

The Ohio Society for Respiratory Care (OSRC) invites dynamic, knowledgeable, and engaging presenters to submit proposals for educational sessions at the 2026 OSRC Annual Conference, taking place August 3–4, 2026.

This flagship event brings together respiratory therapists, educators, students, physicians, and healthcare leaders from across Ohio and beyond. We are seeking presentations that inspire, challenge, and advance the practice of respiratory care.  We are accepting proposal for 50-minute live, in-person lectures.  Please use this link to submit your proposal by March 10, 2026.

Topics of Interest

We welcome proposals across a wide range of clinical, professional, and forward‑looking areas, including:

• Advances in mechanical ventilation
• Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care
• Critical care innovations
• COPD, asthma, and chronic disease management
• Ethics
• Health equity and community respiratory health

Proposal Requirements

Each submission should include:

• Session title
• Short description of the proposed lecture (1500 characters or less)
• Learning objectives (2 measurable learning objectives)
• Short presenter bio related to the their expertise on the topic and credentials
