Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will:
- Set up and operate ventilators, oxygen systems, and aerosol therapy equipment.
- Administer treatments, medications, and therapies per physician orders.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust care to achieve optimal results.
- Support and educate residents in performing breathing exercises.
- Inspect, maintain, and ensure proper function of respiratory care equipment.
- Accurately document all treatments and patient progress.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical teams to ensure holistic resident care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Active Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner License required.
- 1–3 months of related experience preferred.
- Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care.
